Practice Quiet

What would you learn about yourself from practicing quiet for 7 consecutive days?

Quiet would be defined by NO television, NO radio, NO newspapers, and NO movies...

This was an amazing experience as I completed this a few weeks ago. Try this for 1 week and don't give up.

Go ahead and write or journal your experiences down and find out what you would learn about yourself as it may surprise you.

Working Out.....Just Start!

I have found a simple solution to this whole working out and getting back in shape thing.

For years, many of us including myself, have all of these brilliant ideas of how we are going to finally get in shape.

We will join a new gym, purchase personal home equipment, purchase many books on health and fitness, and talk to anyone who will listen on how we will become healthier and change our bodies.

That is the problem......It is all just thought and talk without any action.

The answer is to "just start", and these are the only points you need to know.

1. Write down the exact day you will start.
2. Write down the exact time you will start.
3. Choose where you will work out and what you will do. This could be as simple as walking around the block.

That's it. You will be off and running. Just do something!!!!!!!!!

I encourage everyone to make this simple, not to overthink how we will get in shape.

Write it down, start, and you may never look back.

Positive Thinking...With Emotion!

If we truly want to use "Positive Thinking" to enhance our lives, it needs to be done with
emotion.

The definition of Positive Thinking is: A thought that does not have any negetive limitations of what one can do.

Many of you that participate in the concept of positive thinking wonder why many times it does not work or that nothing changes, and that is because it is done without emotion and the belief that it will come true.

For example, have your ever heard someone say "Today will be a great day."

Do they really feel and believe with emotion that they will have a great day or do they just say that because they want to tell someone else or themselves that they are a positive thinker?

Positive affirmations can be stated repeatedly, but without feeling emotion when saying it, the desire will be less likely to take place.

Lives and situations will shift if our thoughts are applied with emotion, so give it a try and watch the universe around you become full of positive change.
